No, I don't want to talk about that. And kudos for recognizing that distinction.

I'm more interested in the false promises/false fear thing. I don't like politicians who stir folks up without a sound basis. I really, really don't like that. They are essentially con men, which is right up there in the hierarchy of despicable. I could never be a politician for a number of reasons, one of which is that I am always cautious in claims about what I can deliver.

I'm not sure there's anything else to talk about on that. If you think that there is, I'll participate.

I'm not going to go out and buy Obama's book. Maybe if I read it I would find something to enable my trust. But I'm too lazy. I'll wait and watch, instead. I'm willing to believe that Obama is a post-partisan politician, which I think is a very, very desirable thing, but not that he can meet the expectations he's fostering with two fish and five loaves.
