his latest is

... these stocks don't move. they're dead money. the few gold stocks that look strong are: GG, ABX, GOLD, AEM, KGC, DROOY. unfortunately the technically strong ones have at the same time the least defensible valuations from a fundamental PoV. the truly cheap ones (like e.g. HMY or GFI) otoh all look technically atrocious.
having said all that, i actually did buy some more HMY and DROOY today, a sort of compromise (buy one really cheap stock and one that looks technically strong), ...
