'Sure he was, 3 years into the bubble' There was no bubble in most of the country when GWB became president except perhaps in parts of CA and NYC. Patron's vision thing here was a good 3-4 years early IMHO<g> But let us really put it in perspective..I bet at least half the country didn't even have much of a housing bubble with significant price appreciation anyway from Texas to Georgia to Ohio to upstate NY. But a credit induced bubble via financial engineering starting in DC and on Wall Street and debt slavery for way too many people went global that is for sure..
