Shit man, if I could get away with paying no tax I would love it.

But there is a bigger picture. Our prosperity is based in large part on our government system, not some inherent superiority of the American people. And in order for the government to be run with some level of efficiency with a $13 trillion economy, it needs money. Infrastructure doesn't build itself and it isn't free. There is a 'cost of admission' to the benefits of being a US citizen; and if we don't fund the government to the level of it's expenditures then we are threatening the prosperity we enjoy.

This is all pretty simple stuff and it's a surprise to me when you folks don't get it. "If you want to play you got to pay".
