They qualify their opinions by saying that they themselves are rich, therefore they are the ones who would be hurt the most.

Except that they won't. Jim brought up just one of many examples how the rich avoid paying taxes, i.e. tax-sheltered investments such as munis. Real estate is another example.

So you believe (as I do) that the middle class pays a higher tax rate than the rich, so you don't want to raise the taxes on the rich because you think that they will figure a way to avoid them????

Your solution is to throw your hands up and say "It is what it is!!!"?

Is Z a "liberal elitist" or a "liberal elitist" in the making? He'll be living in the biggest nest of liberal elitists on Earth (other than France), and hobnobbing with them constantly.

"The people that get squeezed the most from raising taxes are the ones in the middle, i.e. the most upwardly-mobile class."

But, I KNOW you can carry that weight Ten, and STILL be able to look down on your neighbors! It's your DESTINY!

I can be your life coach for the coming years of (D) dominance.
