I don't read morris with your perspective. Morris is a talking head who looks for something to say that will make headlines. Whatever his current opinion is, it is pontificated with as full as what Morris can put out as his expert opinion. As news cycles or as facts reveal Morris simply changes or re-evaluates his "expert" opinion for the purpose of making headlines and saying whatever makes him appear that or this 5 minutes expert. Sometimes I find his analysis garbage and sometimes a perspective I had not considered. I don't consider his opinion as honest or dishonest, I just listen and consider if they have any logic in them. The hilarious have treated many badly, so morris may carry malice, but the path of best return is what I guess drives morris. "It's just business" is what applies. morris often does a good job of expressing 20/20 hindsight with a nice turn of phrase that conveys by implication "oh how stupid they were" It's is not unpleasant to see it feathering liars cheats and scum.
