What are your other numbers, and why would you consider them horrid while your Trig/HDL is excellent?

My total LDL isn't horrid, 108, but I take Pravachol and Zetia to get it down there.

OTOH, I'm MTHFR positive, my LPA is in the 300s, fibrinogen 580, CRP a whopping 33. Plus now my glucose is inching over 100. The last is not horrid but the others are. 33? Yikes!

I've had a heart catheterization and a cardiac CAT scan over a dozen or so years and my arteries are reported to be clean as a whistle. Doctor who did the cath said I had "the arteries of a teenager, a young teenager."

Mixed messages in all that.
