Name one thing Jesus ever said about gays, abortions or if people should be allowed to enjoy sex and use contraception. I can find you plenty of instances where Jesus preached against greed, the rich, hypocrites, war-makers, bad shepherds of nature and those who are intolerant, hate their neighbors or go after revenge. The US religious right's radical views are actually Old testament and Revelations, not the teachings of Jesus Christ. So they take Jess's name in vain and worship false idols.
