Not open enough to think there might be a God, but open to everything else. I'd be perfectly happy if there were a God. I have no problem with that. I can also state that the weight of evidence, certainly if you are looking for an involved Christian God, is not good. If your view is that God was a first cause of the universe, that is almost as good as any other theory right now. It might not be a good theory in the future, given the tract record of how science has made God retreat almost totally from the universe as we know it. You might recall that even 100 years ago, and most certainly 1000 years or more ago, God was behind much if not most actions in the World. Now, he is AFAIK, only thought to affect human actions in the areas we can't directly test. Everywhere we can set up experiments, God has been pushed out of. At some point, one applies induction based on that data. The data is pretty compelling. But since we don't have any good theories for the origin of the Universe (or even for abiogenesis for that matter) those are places where God has some refuge. For awhile anyway. In the case of abiogenesis, I doubt for long. In the case of the fine tuned universe or the origin of the universe it might be a bit longer, but I doubt 100 years. God had a pretty good run however, for what 2-3K years for the Judeo/Christian one, and I'm sure some 10's of K years for human notions of gods. Still, a 100 years left is not great. We do seem to be living in the Twilights of the Gods so to speak. I suppose that is sad for many people.
