YOU GOT BEAUTY TODAY, CONGRATULATIONS!

:) I trust it is inside beauty reflected outward :) That way I won't lose it but can pass it on the next person :) gracefully :)

<HEALTH, HONESTY, TRUTH>

What great words for today. Thank you.

My DIL's Mom passed away yesterday afternoon. I went to see her Wednesday afternoon and she was not doing well. Her diagnosis was three to six months, so not expecting this so suddenly. I feel so sorry for my little granddaughter, Hayley, as her Nana was so important to her. When my DIL told her she had gone to heaven, she asked her Mom if she would have ice cream and cookies there and was told by her Mom she would be able to have all that she wanted. She replied, "Well, I am so happy to hear that cause I know she will be happy there and I will really miss her giving them to me". I can only hope I can be a part of helping her with the void she now faces and be there as much as I can for her. Hayley was so tuned in to me having cancer and surviving she thought her Nana would be a survivor too. Her Nana was a beautiful lady whose heart was filled with love for her family and friends and whose addition to our family was welcomed by all. We too shall miss her.

God makes those decisions when our time on earth ends and my DIL is grieving by the loss of her best friend, but stated it was his decision and she accepted that and she would no longer have to linger to suffer weeks or months and that thought did somewhat help with this loss. Here today, gone tomorrow was true in this case. It just happens too often and makes us realize today is such an important one to let our family and friends know how important they are to us in our every day lives. May God Bless You All.

Thanks for the perfect words Rudi. I can tell you I'm very optimistic since I came back from the doctor office this week. I found out Friday I don't need to be on blood pressure medication. It came down to 122/80. Last fall I went to the doctors office for a physical. Blood pressure was very high. He had me come back for a follow up. This was the last time I went to the doctor for anything since my last physical. The last time he found a double hernia. I've lost around 20 pounds due to a competitive weight loss contest at work. Five of us around the same weight threw 20.00 buck into a pot Dec 31 (not my idea). Person who looses the most weight (not percentage) by April 2 wins the pot. I've never really tried seriously to loose weight before. I can honestly say the things I've done since Jan. 1. Not one drop of POP(soda), No fast food, eating three meals a day in moderate portions , lots of fruit. (I like to buy whole grapefruits)and a little exercise 10 minuets every other day(nothing fancy). It sure was hard to get started. I'm at a stage now the big loss has stopped. I don't care if I win, but I'm going to give it a little more as we only have about one month left.
