Mold is the absolute worst to deal with------my daughter and hubbie live in an old 1902 condo apartment in D.C. A long saga but they are having their ceiling replaced, airconditioning, heating-----------when they opened the ceilings there was a rats nest in the heating ducts. And above the laundry was a collection of lint and debris from years of the laundry not venting right. Put in new flooring---the place is small but charming. Charming always means problems in D.C. lol mj
