Hugh Hewitt has been all over it, pointing out that the NSA may have to go deaf on terrorist its surveilling today, because Speaker Pelosi won't bring up a bill that would pass easily

The left is spinning it as the Republicans are putting the nation at risk so they can protect their big business pals - ie. the telephone companies. True they want to protect them from the democrats big "business" pals the trial lawyers.

Tort reform in now literally a matter of life and death.

The main sticking point is a provision in the Senate bill that provides legal immunity for telecommunications companies
