Hi pogo, i missed this the other day, just found it following from your other post

The border areas are not Mexico really, the whole narcotraficante culture is an issue certainly but doesn't have much effect on most of the country ... borders are like that, you take a prohibition on one side and a supply on the other, and poof, you got crime ... but drive south a bit and get off the main highways into the pueblos, you'll find Mexico, it's pretty civilised really, even some parts of cities, for those who dislike elbow room and clean air ... and a word to the wise for this Ross fellow - don't bother sending 'Detroit hitmen', they wouldn't last long up against the local rateros ... other stuff from this counterpunch.org site has seemed to me quite whacko, partisan politics from start to finish, fwiw

usa.v - yeah it looks good, they've definitely got a property there, got the funds to operate, competent people, appear to be executing well, but when does shareprice start to reflect that, jeez ... there really was a lot of fresh paper out last year in their financing, guess it takes time for so much to find homes

Trivia point - did you know John P Ryan was one of the three who started up Metalline years ago, with Merlin and another fellow ... can't recall when, maybe early nineties, but it's all in the mmg edgars ... also Ryan was the only head cheese of a junior to have a bio on wikipedia, as of around december, that's quite a distinction -g-
