Someone else actually used a variant of the same joke here a few weeks ago, although I added the part about blacks, women, etc after listening to NPR last night. A black politician came on and tried to sound enlightened by telling a story about how he didn't give up a friend's seat to a random black guy who walked by and asked or it. Those kinds of racial politics shouldn't even be a consideration. I like Obama but there are a lot o black (African American) politicians who are going to hurt him by just standing next to him.

Personally, I'd like someone smart, with business sense, in the white house.
