The third step in major trauma is to stop the bleeding. If Wilson's does not have the money to pay their lease payments, they are not going to pay. By closing a third of their stores, part of the old company may survive after the reorganization. Read the financials; no cash, debt, negative eps and the company discovered that their stores do better if they would change their name.

How much value is left in the Wilsons Leather name? Not much, according to the company's new strategy...

If Wilson's does survive the landlords will probably not sue; why sue your own potential customer.
