Yes, Jesus hated rich people, as much as Jesus could hate anyone. When Jesus entered a town, it is written that often the richest citizen would come up to him and welcome him. Jesus was not polite. He told the richie rich that unless he gives away all his money to the poor and starts washing the feet of lepers that God doesn't want him.

Apparently the religious Right never reads the New Testament, only Revelations, which has nothing to do with christ and it pure wacko supertitition. If the religious right were to actually adhere to christ's teachings, they would be a compassionate, forgiving, tolerant, loving, peace-making bunch who shuns wealth and gives away all their money not to Cadillac preachers but to Oxfam and Unicef and refugees in Darfur. Or at least the poor black and Hispanic kids down the street.

But of course they are just the opposite. Prosperity Ministry = the opposite of Christ's teachings.
