Unconventional ideas don't make it past the 700,000 (yes! 700,000) DOD civilians bogged down in the human traffic jams at Pentagon and other DOD latte wagons.

If it were possible to research, I would look for the average pay grade of these 700K civilians. I suspect somewhere around a Major's salary.

Secondly, how many of these are double dippers* who contribute nothing of consequence to the war effort? I would bet it is more than one-half of the 700K.

*I did some of that myself in a different government organization. I believe part of my work was of value, but a good portion was largely paper wrap BS. Of course, I took the money anyway. :-)

UW, if there were enough special forces, wouldn't they be used as you advise. It seems too obvious.
