that burbed blog is a joke though, they deliberately find the worst examples of RE here. Like that shack in redwood city they were showing, the truth is that is a mixed use zone so the property is actually a little big worthwhile, for a business that wants to set up there. That blog doesn't tell you that, they just show the shack.
they had one post called "your dream shack" for bay area shacks priced at 1 million, it was hilarious. Most of them were literally shacks but what you didnt' see is the property was a 1/2 acre lot right next door to Cisco or Intel or something.
