Tim, in my view, we don't have a chance, either way. the outcome is as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, the only question is timing.

i'm not going to argue for big government.

however, i will argue that, given the realities we face today, soaking the billionaires in more cash at the expense of our grand children being born into economic slavery isn't the way it ought to be - even if soaking the billionaires in cash means guys like bill clinton mint money after leaving office.

i do think the idea of small government is over rated, too. sure, one can use their imagination because we've never really seen it much, but humanity is anything but humane unless held in check by some force other than self control.
