Grass fed beef in Western Canada and the US is grain fattened on a feedlot before slaughter. They are fed hormones, and feed with insecticide and herbicide in it. The last 50 lbs does a lot of damage.

Grass fed cattle in Switzerland above 1500 metres in elevation produce a special classification of Cheese that is very high in CLA. This Cheese is specially marked by the Swiss gov't, and is called Bergkase Cheese. It is some hard to find in Toronto I will tell you.
