There are other countries with free medical care that aren't poor. So your thesis is flawed. And then there is the problem of Cuba's small size; the fact that its an island with few natural resources and is governed by a dictator. That notwithstanding, Ten and his peers have convinced themselves that had Cuba used a capitalist economic model it would be the Beverly Hills of the third world.
