You point that out, and he trots out the "nuance" word. And it rarely is subtle shading, which might make the word "nuance" appropriate. For someone at least. You point that out, and then you are "backpedalling". You ask for examples and he dredges up something totally unrelated as some sort of "gotcha". Sometimes I think he is channeling American Spirit...
