I spend probably 16 hours a weekend on the water fishing and by summers end I have more then enough fish for the winter. I spend my winters working on my cooking and making sausage which is my newest hobby. Just getting going on that one. Really the only time I ice fish is once or twice we get a group together and go out tip up fishing for northerns. We are only allowed 3 a piece here so it's much more fun when you get 15 guys/gals and we fry fish and drink beer and chase tip ups. I'm having my special cajun spiced beer battered bluegills for supper if you have a moment. Tomorrow it's broiled bass with a crab cream sauce over then crusted with bread crumbs that have been flavored and spiced. Mmmm.
