"WHAT MESSAGE DOES THE MEETING SEND?"

That not all Americans believe in "my way or the highway"? That we aren't ALL owned by AIPAC?

Nadine, I am sure that you know that you are a war whore. Why don't you bomb Tehran and Damascus so Tel Aviv be wipe off the map. If you recall, Reagan negotiated with Iran for the release of the hostages before he got elected. How soon you forget.

"What except, we're going to be nice to you, look I'm here being nice to you, so be nice to us?

What does that message mean when addressed to one of the owners of Hizbullah and Hamas?"

There is nothing wrong with extending an olive branch. If it is rejected, that is informational and information is useful.

I agree with less_. It does no harm to talk, or extend an olive branch.

You are falling all over yourself trying to cast this in a negative light AND assume a certain outcome.

You assume you know what will be the outcome, you assume you know what Brzezhinski will say.

Altogether I think you assume too much.
