Obama or Hillary would be excellent, Obama better.
McCain is a non-starter. Though he's not a bad guy, he'd be the most boring Gerald Ford type imaginable. Plus I don't trust him on Iraq and Iran. Sounds like he agrees withy Bush and Lieberman on those issues and the country does NOT want anymore of that crapola.

I was for Edwards, but Obama has really impressed me. He truly does transcend race and everything else. He may be the best and brightest we've seen since JFK. No exaggeration. And I daresay his election would all but end the Islamic Jihad against the US and its interests. How can they want to attack a country led by a guy named Obama? They'd be boo'ed on the Arab streets for even suggesting such a thing. But Bush-Cheney are natural enemies of the Islamic and populist movement of the Muslim world. They are like gasoline on the fire no matter what they do. And sometimes they are intentional gasoline. In fact, they ARE gasoline. Isn't that their #1 obsession, raising the price of gasoline and grabbing more oil for their cronies?
