Yea, well we won WW2. The winner usually gets to write the history and make the rules. ;-)

There are obviously ways around it. I believe they simply classify people in a way that makes the Geneva Convention not applicable. It seems likely we were sending people to Jordan, Egypt etc... to be "interrogated" as recently as a few years ago and we have admitted to waterboarding a few people that DID give us some information after 9/11.
