Mme Sybarite,

Ireland is pasture based. From what I had read I thought France was too- although in this article it is classified as silage based, but I know for a fact many of the farms are pasture based. I'd like to see a better breakdown. I know a lot of the French cheeses I buy are from grass few goats, sheep and cows.

You may have a good chance of getting grass fed product from countries that mostly use that method, but you are never really sure, unless it is specifically mentioned on the product description.

Is there any particular brand that you know is grass fed?

BTW, most of the butter, even if grass fed is made from pasteurized milk. Non-pasteurized would be better...
