Technical analysis may not apply to SKF and other 2X bear funds, but i expect trading rules will be very important. Get in when it is going in your preferred direction, cut losses very quickly, and don't let a profit turn into a loss. I have found these funds to be short term trading vehicles, not really hedges against long positions. The best hedge these days may be cash. I think appearance will dominate reality for the next year.
