You can't be dumb enough to really not understand the difference between extending olive branches to Hitler, esp. when he was strong, say in 1942, and trying to negotiate a separate armistice (in effect, a surrender deal) from Mussolini, when he was very weak in 1943 and 1944. ROFL myself, why do you think the Germans had to invaded their ALLY, Italy, to prevent the armistice? It was no olive branch to them!
