As I consider that comment by mrs baby O, It makes me wonder... what alien world is this person from. Long ago now I created a few photo essays that just celebrate what I see as the America I am proud to be part of. these are two examples. pbase.com The Strength of America. The annual Strawberry Festival for 2002 held on the Monroe Green. The Strawberry Festival is organized and put together by dozens and dozens of volunteers from the Congregational Church. The event is held over a couple of days and features lots of good strawberry stuff to eat, all nature of fun games for the children and it provides a market place for artisans of glass, wood, fabric, photography, painting, and more. To me this is the strength of America, This event of a free people working together and bringing together individual artists from all over New England and the good local people creating a fun learning event. All are invited to enjoy family, community, American moments captured in time. pbase.com American Saturday Night Freedom in America is the joy of familes and children at a carnival. Volunteers get together to raise money for cancer research. But the child just know the joy.
