How's this for the next cause of loss of jobs??? Paid family leave bill to be addressed in budget

{KLP Note....Of course the Libs won't admit it, but this will truly loose jobs and employers from the State that intends to implement this. And as this article states, Gregoire doesn't believe in things being visible....but rather "spring it on everyone after the gate is closed". Already employees get 2 weeks of vacation a year, between 8-10 paid Holidays, at least 5 days or much more sick leave.....and now have unpaid Family leave. Of course, Mr. Employer, if the job is important at all, must hire a temp worker to try to help.... BUT NOW, Gregoire is going to outdo OBAMA before OBAMA does.....PAID FAMILY LEAVE for up to 3 months PER YEAR, and it is possible to use it EVERY YEAR....will collapse the new small business engine that is the growth arm of this Country. PLUS, more and more taxes because ALL government workers will have this of course.]

OLYMPIA — A blueprint for running the state's paid family leave program has been shelved by its proponents, who say they'll handle the details in the upcoming state budget.
Sen. Karen Keiser says she and a fellow Seattle Democrat, Rep. Mary Lou Dickerson, decided to pull the bill because they feared Republicans would use up valuable floor time debating the merits of the overall program, which became law last year.
Keiser also said she hopes Gov. Christine Gregoire will issue an executive order putting the Employment Security Department in charge of family leave. That was originally an element of the shelved bill.
Lawmakers have until 5 p.m. today to get bills voted off the floor of the house of origin.
