Hi Don,

Well one thing for sure Hewlett packard isn't singing the blues.

I keep going back to 1998 and the Asian Contagion - all this negative spin about the Thai Bat - what that had to do with the internet and semiconductor explosion I never did figure out.

The entire confusion took the 97 high in September down into the Q3 announcements of October 98.

The earnings didn't turn ,but the backlog grew.

It was a reversal and almost a leading indicator.

Up until the very recent build in backlog - no one had a clue.

The market never looked back and a break out darling sector had been born.

Intel and Amat led by two weeks and had actually bottomed in the July time period.

So big cap bottomed first and held as small caps had a final shkeout.

What really turned the tide was backlog.

MUCK LIKE LTXX has announced!!

Here's hoping we get a similar response - it has been almost 8 years!!
