Noranda bought out the rest of Falconbridge on June 30, 2005 adopted the Falconbridge name, then was acquired in August 2006 by Xstrata. Nice history of Noranda and Falconbridge here: falconbridge.com

Does Noranda still excist any more , the CME Celtic Black Duck claim was a Noranda claim back in 1997 when things went strange Cartaway's Vice President was top geogist head of the department for Noranda for over twenty years.
