For his part, RAND CEO James Thomson said that the Corporation provides research for developing services in health, education, transport and infrastructure, and that this research has been focusing recently on the Palestine people and their future when a Palestinian state is established.

Fictions upon fictions. No Arab leader (including the Palestinian ones) will accept a Palesitnian state as long as Israel still exists; all the useful pressure coming from the West would then cease, since the state of Palestine would be expected to behave like a state. Without "occupation," how could the Pals blame Israel for every hardship they deliberately cause their own people?
