not for me. i was taking early withdrawal substantially equal payments for ten years. i was already paying big time tax on withdrawals.. and would have paid a huge tax even spread over four years. of course after that cmgi, jdsu, qcom and dozens of others crash.. boy , sure glad i never paid taxes on converting. and they watch vapor in my roth. i wasn't smart enough to buy low and sell high. ps been withdrawing last five years but at zip tax rates. i like it much better. g
