GDP is a contrary indicator under Bush. It credits deficit spending as a positive. As well as squandering of resources and even pollution. Sure, Bushies have deficvit spent us to the moon and squandered all kinds of valuable resources. But the party is over. Just like during the Reagan boom-bust but much worse this time because stagflation is also a big factor due mainly to Bush-cheney's real #1 priority, to triple oil and gasoline prices on us.

BTW, Bush totally lied during the State Of The Union when he claimed he'll create surpluses by 2010. It's just the opposite. Nobvel Prize winning economics project that Bush's tax cuts for the rich and huge spending will create a 13 trillion dollar debt by 2010, which is why the dollar is now worth only 50 cents internationally compared to the Clinton dollar.

You cannot deny our entire middleclass is in deep peril now. You certainly have to at least admit that. And $100 oil, trillions in new deficits, unpunished corporate corruption and gouging, the billionaires getting much richer but paying less tax, the environment under seige, health care and education up 50-60%. Millions more US jobs sent overseas under Bush. Jobs growth hardly keeping up with population growth. Wages down and benefits way down. The average family burdened with more debt than anytime in history. You cannot deny any of that.

So what exactly have these "conservatives" conserved? Anything but the estates of the billionaire class?
