He'd be dead in a month. The Iraqi government isn't beholden to Sadr anymore, Anbar is pacified, and there's a whole lot more firepower to give his militia the attention they deserve.

It would be the Mahdi Army's death warrant. It would be the perfect excuse to fully and finally wrap them up and throw them away.
