Even short term you could roll it into a self-directed 401K and put it in a CD. If you do not belong to the company 401K program you are missing out on the 5% or whatever the company matches. Course you Silicon Valley People make so much money, you don't need it!! (gg) Thanks - Paul

I kept my U.S. 403b because it is tax advantaged in Australia whereas U.S. IRAs are not. I'm happy with the available choices.
