Subprime loans defaulting even before resets It turns out that massive interest rate spikes aren't the problem -- many borrowers couldn't afford these mortgages even at the low, introductory interest rates. This is news why? I've known this for months now. Why do you think I am railing against the real estate industry in this country. They fukked us badly while Bush and the Republicans had their fingers their asses yelling at the time of the lungs.....free enterprise is best; gov't is bad.
