They might not last the year if their business is so dependent on SIV's, and these funds that they are in or promise to support, keep going into receivership.

I'm still adding to insurance companies- life, p&c, reinsurance.
Good time to invest now. Well, imo.

Passing for now on Mr. Buffett's SWCEY though. I don't like that Swiss insurer's lack of transparency (or what I perceive to be their lack of forthright communication to stockholders), and I don't understand why it's a safe buy now. (OTOH, following Mr. Buffett into his stocks has been a pretty good/very good idea in past.)
