I suspect there are already many published papers on ocean uptake of CO2, so your basic premise that the oceans are decreasing in CO2 uptake should be in the data. I've read about acidification and turnover rates starting to decrease ocean CO2 update, but rest assured if there has been a significant change in plankton affecting CO2 uptake, somebody will publish some good data on it.

I can't believe that such an effect can be obscured if it is significant.
