The most destructive thing Bush has done successfully, as President, is shift resources away from Americans and to corporations.

That can't be the most destructive thing he's done, because he hasn't done it.

KT,

>The most destructive thing Bush has done successfully, as President, is shift resources away from Americans and to corporations. <

This is not true.

He shifted resources from government to individuals and corporations without cutting government in proportion. In fact, he sped up the growth of government (which is why he is so unpopular).

Democrats would have hated him almost no matter what he did, but to get an approval rating like he has it takes republicans hating you also. And they do because he didn't govern like one and damaged the party and its goals of shrinking government.

No doubt in my mind that Bush will go down as the worst president of all time. I cant think of a single area where I can say- well at least this was handled properly. Its a tragedy that that we have such difficulty electing competent people. Amongst all of the sound bites I ve tried not to hear- what has seeped through its that Hillary thinks all the oil profits are hers to with as she pleases , shes also willing to freeze mortgage rates for as long as it takes. I dont understand what Obama plans to do or how he plans to do it. Does seem like this movie I saw where these guys in Checkeslovakia designed and filmed an ad campaign for major supermarket except there was never any supermarket. They just built a big facade and had a count down to opening day with circulated specials. then they filmed opening day and the throngs of people who came for the too good to be true bargains. Then we have McCain who supported the war from the get go and still supports it. How does he plan to get us out of there? When?
We have 3 people running and I dont care for any of them. Bring me someone else. Please.
