Right. There are many degrees of rumminess, but free markets
will have to come back, along with the gold standard, and
Patriot Act will have to be canned. Otherwise we could have
a Germany 1923 experience a few years from now, and that's
very optimistic.

I suspect the Brits are more rummy now than we are. -g-
The cure: WS Ponzi schemes and "financial economy" must
collapse. It could happen now or after hyperinflation, but
it must happen eventually. If hyperinflation occurs, financial
economy will become the only economy and WS types will be
the wealthiest in the US. Once hyperinflation is stopped by
decree (currency is tied to some tangible asset, such as gold
or land or whatever) wealth will be transferred back from WS
types to the productive sector of the economy, as happened
in Germany, and WS will collapse anyway. Ugh. What happened in
Germany after hyperinflation wasn't much fun either, but
the industry quickly recovered -g-

So far - NO, financial economy is protected -g-
