I still hold COP and a lot of other energy plays. I am still in Peak Oil crowd although we may see some buying opportunities when China closes a lot of its industries for Olympics this year. I would be expecting oil, gas, coal and nuclear do well in the future although coal and nuclear may be the most risky or difficult to invest into. I have a very tiny positions of KOL and NLR for these. Oil is perhaps the easiest to assess in terms of peaking and irreplaceability. You have to be careful not to invest in companies that may go down even as price of oil goes up as they do not have enough reserves or they spend too much money for E&P. Tough to judge sometimes, so I usually don't exclude companies unless they clearly stand to lose from higher oil prices and flat-to-lower total oil quantity.
