You're talking about the Daily Kos public, Elroy, not the general public. I don't even know who that is..... The kind that never felt positive about the US anyway, because the Left only teaches what's wrong with America, and the kind that has convinced themselves that 9/11 was a fluke or didn't matter, that the rest is 'fear-mongering' invented for the sake of Halliburton. Come on, more than just a fringe of the US population is unhappy with the current direction and perception of the USA. Look at government poll ratings, really low. Forget the extreme left, the average centrist citizen is whom I'm talking about. Obama will CHANGE all that by sitting down and meeting with Ahmedinijad and he will bring CHANGE. Sure Adhmedinijad just called Israel a "filthy bacteria" and the head of the Revolutionary Guards called it a "cancer that will soon disappear" but don't pay any mind, words don't matter...oops they do, but only when Obama says them. In that way of his. You're jumping into policy here. I think the vast majority of swing voters aren't such wonks, and they will vote on the age comparison, hope versus status quo comparison, American dream versus old white man comparison, and not on specific policies. It's an awfully thin schtick, played by a very slight figure. I mean, who the hell is Barack Obama and what the hell has he ever accomplished? He got elected to the Senate two years ago. Then he did nothing whatsoever except give some good speeches. Yeah, but people like the speeches. And not being as "accomplished" as the other candidates, who all come out of the much disliked US government, isn't necessarily all that bad. Plus, the guy seems intelligent and personable. Voters like that. You think this act has legs? You think it won't get old and that McCain, who has a life story with some actual accomplishments in it, won't find any way to attack him? I'm sure McCain will attack him. But for the reasons I listed I think the voters will go.....overwhelmingly....with Obama. We'll see, it's just an opinion, but I'll take any even bet in Obama versus McCain, and probably even give a bit of odds if I had to. And, as for the big beef against him, it's easy as pie to repel. McCain will say "he has no substance behind the rhetoric!" So Obama will respond with a detailed proposal about some topic, and voila, substance. Now what you got McCain?

Americans are the proudest people of their country. They are patriotic and would sacrifice their lives for their country and freedom. However, if they see something wrong and they feel that their love for their country being exploited, you can bet that they will speak up. You, on the other hand, as a Zionist, speaking out against the wrong doings, does not suits you or Israel well. You should be ashamed of yourself. God knows there are enough people that hate American foreign policies, the country does not need an Israeli with American clothing to add to that hate. You yell and scream that the Arabs/Muslims hate American freedom, yet you are the one that is imposing limits on American freedom. Again Nadine, if you hate America so much, why don't you move to Israel? You need to get this through your thick head, Americans will elect their president NOT Israelis. Israel does nothing to contribute to America, on the contrary, Israel drag America into unjust wars that is costing America dearly.
