The NY Times has no record of inaccurate stories, except in two cases. Those were when Judith Miller believed Cheney-Rove's lies about the WMD in Iraq, and when a renegade human interest reporter got lazy and made up articles rather than doing his homework. In these two cases they had to retract, so 50% of their black marks are because of Dick Cheney and the other an unimportant lazy journalist. Other than that, you can trust the NY Times with your life.
