The New York Times is the finest newspaper on earth. They have the highest possible journalistic standards. They have an almost perfect record on veracity. The only major story they had top retract was when they believed the lies of Cheney's group on the WMD in Iraq when they were busy trying to out a key CIA agent during war-time. They also endorsed McCain, and have printed plenty of articles critical of both democrats and Republicans over the years. When it comes to facts, they do not play favorites.
