The NY Times has the highest standards. Their unnamed sources are highly credible people I'm sure, and there are more than one of them agreeing on the story.

My only question is, why would these guys rat out McCain if they used to be his closest aides? Was this something the ROmney camp was planning to promote? And why did McCain refuse to comment on the NY Times story when they contacted him about it. McCain knew this was coming out, remember, and did nothing but say "I am not perfect". Why? Because he knows the NY Times story is correct. But like Clinton, he has to deny this in public. He has no choice or he loses everything. Even a mea culpa with his wife wouldn't work with the religious right voters.

LOL What story? The same old unrevealed sources...

Stupidity on both sides, neither you nor ASS read the story. The article told its sources and quotes them word for word. Furthermore the story isn't even about McCain having an affair, it never makes that case.
