Early humans like homo erectus used stone tools easily a million years ago (maybe two). If anything, you could claim that the use of stone tools led to the evolution of Homo Erectus. But we're not Homo Erectus. By your timeline, use of fire comes toward the tail end of Homo Erectus - soon to be followed by the development of Neanderthal and Modern Man (both fire users)

No, your timeline for fire fits pretty well to the time period where brain size quickly increases, jaw bone become lighter, and modern man is believed to have evolved from Homo Erectus.
