I think obama is the most progressive democrat in quite some time. I use progressive because i think (hope) that includes taking best of breed from both right and left. I hope he is that kind of liberal and not McGovern or Carter redux.
By the way, i am a pro israel dude and just want to say to the thread that nadine crosses a line by using the middle name highlighted as she does. I dont like that one bit, although i am suspicous of some of the names among his crew.

Funny how every candidate hyperbolic righties don't like always seems to be accused of being the MOST LIBERAL SENATOR IN AMERICA.

Except Obama actually qualifies! Look at his ratings.

If Boxer or Biden or Feinstein edge him out anywhere, it's by tenths of a percentage. He's right out there at the leftmost wing of the Senate. All the liberal groups say so, why should conservatives disagree?

Yeah; 4 years ago it was Kerry who was the most liberal. Then they used to raise money against Boxer by saying she was the most liberal. LOL
